View Full Version : How do I disable Propel?

I got an error saying that Palm couldn't find a required dbs. Only way out was to remove the power supply and soft reboot. Wouldn't go away so I downloaded the current version of both Agendus and Propel and reinstalled them. Propel seemed to work briefly then it forced a re-start since when it won't work.

Whenever I re-sync now Propel kicks off, as it's set up to do but after resorting contacts, etc. it forces a reboot of the Palm OS. How do I disable Propel so that I can get to other apps, including dbscan? I can't find anyway to get to my app list as Propel is set to initiate on pressing the home key

various ways to get to the default launcher:

1) hold the up key and launch Propel. Go to prefs, disable Propel, then press the phone key to exit propel. It is now disabled:

2) assign another launcher to a favourite (in a treo) and tap on that favourite

3) debug reset (google if you want to try this)

Could you give more info on the crash though? It would help to know what the error was if you have something that logs crashes.

thanks.
