View Full Version : Background Image not displaying properly

On tungsten again, the background image does not display properly:
Loaded a 320x260 gif from sd card. The image is repeated multiple times vertically on the display (one for each section of the today page) and is squeezed vertically to fit within each section.
I'm guessing it should span through all the sections instead.

Same problem on my Clie 770 with OS 4.1!

Might be linked to the "multiple display": it takes forever to load the background image. And not only the first time after background installation, but every time I use Agendus. Makes it a bit pointless...

Happens with my Tungsten T as well, with one more incovenience: the tool bars disappear too. Annoying!

I agree it takes way too long to load the image to be used, I just set mine back to no image.

Without control of type color, it is horribly difficult to come up with a background that will work well. Even with control of type color it is difficult to come up with backgrounds that don't interfere with the information on screen.
Nice feature to show off hi-res displays, but not really necessary. I suppose everyone is jumping on the 'skinning' bandwagon.
