I really need help importing my contacts. I have contacts in Act 6 and an excel spreadsheet. I tried exporting them to tab and comma delimited text files, but they just end up importing into the memo field. That's kinda useless.

How do I import all my contacts. Thanks

There are few possible solutions:
1. You can export you data in vCard (.vcf) format, and import them directly in Agendus;
2. You can import data in Outlook, as Agendus can work with Outlook as with a data-source you'll see that data in Agendus. In case if your data-source is Palm Desktop you still can switch data source to Outlook, copy data in the clipboard, then switch data-source back to Palm Desktop and paste the data.

Palm desktop also supports comma or tab separated import. You could import them there, since Agendus uses the same files.

I exported all of my ACT! 6.0 data as a comma delimited file, and then imported it into the palm desktop - worked perfectly. Then open Agendus for Windows and all the data is there.

One thing you have to be careful of is which application you are viewing in the palm desktop when you import. If you are viewing the memo pad it will import the comma delimited file as a memo - so be sure that you are in the address application before you select import.

My question is
Why can't Agendus im-/ export in memo
the same categories like original Palm desktop.Do I really have to install both
if i want to export the categories like
*.csv,*.txt,*.tab,*.tsv,*.mpa ????
Agendus4Windows has only the categories: *.txt,*.vcf,*.vcs
.The *.mpa is extremely important
e.g.when i lost my memo-contents due to a false synchronisation, toimport the *.mpa files in the %root%\palm\<user>\memopad\*.dat
to be renamed as *.mpa.
I was not possible to do it with Agendus4Windows!!! Why??
