I noticed that Iambic released a new version, so I thought I'd give it a try. The big problem that I always had with their mobile product still seems to be there. If I have an appointment (or a task) and the phone number is in the Note, is there no way to dial that number directly from the Note?

As a comparison, with Angenda One, I can use the dpad to place focus on a phone number, click it, and dial it. Do any of you have a work-around?

Sorry, should have mentioned that I use a Moto Q, which is a Smartphone (ie, a non touch screen).

Hi Jeff,

A couple of things.

This feature is not available and we are having a discussion here http://support.iambic.com/forum/showthread.php?t=31252. We do list our product history in "What's New" located on the product page if that is helpful for you.

As for a workaround, can you give me a scenario of how your are working with your apt or tasks? In other words, why the number is located in the note? Is it for a third party? Normally, as you know already, the number would be linked via the contact autofill box.

Thanks for the quick response.

Well, you're right; normally, that info would be accessible from the Contacts sheet. However, I often make tasks or appts for which there is no contact. For example, when I book a hotel room, I don't create a contact for that hotel. But, I do put the relevant info (address, phone) in the Note of an appt. That's just one example, but it happens enough so that I knew to look for that feature. If I were to make a contact for every single appt or task I have, ye gads!
