When I press the jog dial, the application changes from day view, then week view and then to do view. I don't know if it is the expected behavior, but I think it should be configurable like the regular buttons (date book, address, to do), which can be configured on preferences. The behavior is also not documented on the manual.

Thanks for the feedback.

This is by design and documented in the manual on page 28 of version 6 manual, the page number maybe slightly different in the manual for previous versions.

Please note: there is a related known bug in v6 with the Go To View option of the button mapping functionality.

I was playing around with the button shortcuts (actually posted a couple of bugs on that) and then came back to read the reply to this message. I went to the manual and didn't find anything about the jog dial anywhere. Also I clicked on the dial again, and now it cycles through every view! I had none of the buttons on cycle view, so where does the jog dial take its behavior from?

I'm very interested on this one, since I usually do not use the other buttons, since they are trapped inside the clie's shell when it is compacted, and the jog dial is very handy.

Hi,

Sorry I some how misread that and thought you were referring to the hard button mapping.

The pressing in the jog dial should cycle to all views. We have now reproduced a bug when cycling from the 1 day list or today views. It will cycle to all views except for the contact view. There is no way to reconfigure this button within Agendus.

Any chance that configuring it would be added as a feature? :D
