When in contacts, if the categories drop down is pressed, you get a fatal exception.

Thanks for reporting this, it appears to be specific to the Japanese NX70 ROM as it does not happen with a US English ROM.

I have a Tungsten T (OS5) English Version and when I hit the contacts categories list the unit does a soft reset. This happens in both One Line and Expanded veiw.

I just posted new thread but should have submitted post here. This happens to me on my nx70 purchased here in Allentown PA. Don't think its Japanese.

Hi,

Ok this problem has been located as well. It happens in the same series of steps but is different from the problem on the Japanese ROM OS5 devices.

This does not happen on my NR70 with the beta I downloaded today. Has this been fixed?

I confirm : with my french T|T I've noticed the same bug...

I just tried it on my NX70V and it locked up and buzzed. But no message. Is that normal?

I posted this elsewhere before seeing this thread, but I also get a Fatal Reset when I use the drop down list in the Contacts view on my Treo 270.

Build 258 Tungsten T English version:
I am experiencing this problem as well - quite inconvenient as I have multiple categories in the Contacts section and can only view the one that comes up. I now have to use the standard address book to view contacts.
