View Full Version : Problems registering - Need Help

I installed the trial version of Vehicle Manager for the PC and PDA. Everything was working fine. I purchased the license and input the code to register the product. The PC registered fine. I connected my Samsung i760 to the PC to sync and got a message there was a problem with the database on the mobile device and it needed attention. When I enter the code I get the following message:
"This license is for an older version. You are on day 12 of a grace period" I am not able to do anything with the database.

Hi Bill sorry to hear about your problem. Let me see if I can help.
We do have a Knowledge Base Article on this matter but it sounds as if you have a brand new copy so I am not sure this will be what you need ...for the record here it is: http://support.iambic.com/index.php?_m=knowledgebase&_a=viewarticle&kbarticleid=152
Sounds like to me that the device id may be an issue or something. Just make sure you have the correct code by checking your "myiamic" account and matching up the code.
If you see that everything looks good and there is nothing that you can see that is wrong, you can always have a new code generated. I would suggest contacting customer service first to see if the matter is deeper just to be safe. You can submit a ticket by clicking the link below in my signature where it says self help. Thank you for the post. I figured out the problem. There were actually two codes I needed to enter, the PC code and the PDA code.
