I am having trouble getting TimeReporter for Timeslips to install on my Palm IIIxe. Below is the error message I get, what I have tried and my attempts to get help from iambic. Any help would be appreciated!!!

I have tried reinstalling Timeslips Remote 10.5 with SR2 and also tried reinstalling TimeReporter for Timeslips and still get the same error message as follows:

I purchased TimeReporter for TimeSlips 9/10 and I cannot get the Clients/Tasks to load onto my Handspring Visor. I have TS Remote 10.0 and the most current version of TRTS, but I keep getting the same error on Hotsync.

Neither TS nor Iambic could bring me to a solution. The most logical explanation from TS is that Iambic made TSTR compatible with TimeSlips Remote 10.5 (current version) but did not make it backward compatible with 10.0.
I am running Windows 98 Second Edition if anyone has a plan for making the Conduit work. I will even offer a 100.00 reward by PayPal for the solution, since it will make me 10x that amount if I can get it to work.

TimeReporter does not work, and has never worked with a TSRemote database. You must have a full license of the Timeslips program on the machine you are synching with for it to work.
Your error message is indicative of that. Notice, it can't initialize the database?

Well, I am half-way there. Despite the nay-saying of Nancy, we now have my Tasks/Clients on the Handheld. At this point, there is no transfer of Slips to the PC from TRTS. Any suggestions?

George,
I believe you will find, as Nancy pointed out, that you need a full version of Timeslips for this to work as it was designed to work. Remote will not let you do this.

I believe the latest version of iambic TimeReporter (1.3) does work with TS Remote. At least iambic's website says so. I am going to try it with TS Remote 10.5. You have to remove all earlier versions of TimeReporter from the PDA and from the Desktop.

Iambic wrote me back with a couple new DLLs and rebuilt the program for my problem. It now works with my TRTS 10.0 as far as I can see. I noticed a limit of about 275 records that would transfer, but worked around it by making everyone else's files inactive on my computer (I have about 130 files that I access).
Now I am waiting for the Edge version of the Stowaway so I can really find save some billing time!
I would appreciate some response. It has been over a week since I have heard from anyone in your company. If the rebuilt program as indicated above would solve my problem, please let me know. I am running Timeslips Remote 10.5 SR2 in Windows 98 on a Toshiba 2505CDS notebook with 96 meg of Ram and an 18 gig hard drive. I am trying to sync over USB to my Palm IIIxe which is running Palm OS system 3.5.2. My Hotsync Manager is 4.0 and I am using Intellisync 3.06.00.422.25.

I am getting frustrated and may no longer be interested in your company’s product if we can’t get this resolved real soon.
I got onto the iambic website and downloaded all of the .dll files for Timeslips version 10.5 into my system directory. I then Hotsynced and still got the same error message. I then copied all of the .dll files from my Timeslips Remote directory to my system directory, Hotsynced again and still got the same error message.
What’s up?
