I have some trips coming up and I'd really like to get back to using an itinerary manager. I used TripTracker for a while at least until I updated to a WM 5.0 and now a 6.0 device. I've been strung along with everyone else with your ever changing timelines and priorities and just want a dose of reality.
My question is when will you be releasing an updated version?
Mobimate is offering their basic version (which has many if not most of the existing features as TT) for free and from reviews, seems to be pretty stable. I can add their desktop manager for some $$ and be in business.
I've kept my loyalty with Iambic mostly because of the challenges in finding a competing product with the same feature set for a reasonable cost. I think I've found one, but wanted to give y'all one more chance to provide some decent customer service. For those of us whom have been actively asking about the update since the acquisition, I think it is the least you could do.
Thanks.

sorry for the recent silence on this -- just to reassure everyone, we are actively working on it. As it often happens in these sort of projects, things got a bit sidetracked, while the complexity increased.
We do have internal builds of the desktop portion, windows mobile ppc portion, and sync components which are being tested. It's possible that upon release also the wm smartphone (aka wm6 standard) edition will be available as well, if not, a bit afterwards.
In regards to timelines, as always, a bit tricky to be accurate, especially under the holidays -- we are shooting for a public beta in mid or third week of January.

I've been a very long time user of tripTracker on my old iPaq. It was amongst the most useful pieces of software I have. Last year I bought a new iPaq with win Mobile 5, which doesn't run triptracker. I'm so dissappointed as a regular flyer (at least 50 flights per year).
please hurry with the re-release of this software. I will certainly use it, even if I have to buy it again.
Thanks

thank you for your support -- and yes we are getting close to have it ready. We are currently testing synchronization and developing a tool allowing to import V3 data into the new V4.
Price-wise, the upgrade will either be our "classic" $9.95 or it will be free -- this is currently being defined. Certainly there won't be need to re-purchase it again full price.

Given the delays you've had with this product, I can't imagine too many people will be too happy to pay for a working version. Hopefully those advocating a free upgrade prevail as a gesture to those who've been waiting over a year for a functioning version.
In my own case, I purchased TripTracker from Two Peaks in May '06 and, upon discovering it wouldn't work with my device, requested a refund. Unfortunately, I was never able to get a response from them. I was excited to learn that iambic bought the product in October as I had had many positive experiences with iambic's software going back to my days as a Newton MessagePad user. Needless to say, the idea of spending more money to get a product working for the first time is not appealing to me.

Iambic's incompetence regarding TripTracker continues to blow my mind. How many delays and promises are we, the consuming public, supposed to take before we discount your ability to deliver? I assume one of the strategic reasons behind your acquisition of Two Peaks was to introduce its customers to your product portfolio. Agendus, your clear bellwether, competes against products like Pocket Informant, so what better way to get a leg-up on the competition? Yet your inability to turn out an update for TripTracker, in addition to your repeatedly lapsed timelines, leads me to come to the conclusion that Iambic cannot be relied on as a vendor. So, why should I invest in, or change to, your other products? Do you not see the inherent flaw not only your investment, but your logic?
Please tell me, and the others reading this post, what we can expect from Iambic in reference to TripTracker and other product development. Understand the answer is relevant not only to TripTracker, but your company as a whole.

Hi everyone,
We're really close to having TripTracker 4 ready. Please see here (http://support.iambic.com/forum/showthread.php?t=33072).
The sooner we get this part verified, the sooner we can release.
