Few corrections are needed in Vehicle manager
1.- In Preferences a) Money symbol should be to change US$- and other local currency symbols b) Km per Gallon also should be added as choice
also a special section where all data from Drivers could be filed as Driver License No. Country and when it has to be renew

I like the idea of adding in driver licence number and renewal date - that is a reminder necessary in all those places where your license does not renew on your birthday (like where I live!). Definitely need a choice of currency symbols.

Are there any countries that are conflicted between standard and metric so that they would be travelling km but filling by the gallon - or would this be for instances where you travel, say, between Canada where you fill by the litre, and the US where you fill by the gallon - and still check your distance by km?

Automatic conversion. Conversion between dollars and other currency should be based on current exchange rates, which should be downloaded via the web of course.

Not necessarily, just have or be able to incert the symbol is enough, the rest is been done by the app it self Kms divided among Gallons purchased = fial value.
But having only the choice of Euros?

ftiwitty, I think currency conversion is probably more than is necessary for VM.
