When I start a thread or respond to someone in this forum, how long does it take for the message to post?

it usually takes between 0 minutes and 5 hours, depending how often moderators are browsing the forums looking for new posts.

Posts made during the week are usually moderated almost immediately, while some delay might be present over the weekend.
