Hi,
as you probably noticed by reading the post in the news/announcements section, TripTracker version 4 is now available (http://support.iambic.com/forum/showthread.php?t=33713).
If you own version 3, then read below for important upgrade and data migration details.
- Current owners of TripTracker for Windows or Windows Mobile Pocket PC version 3 will receive in their email a free license code to version 4 within the next few days.
- You may already start using version 4 now, by obtaining a trial code and downloading it at this link (WMPPC) (http://www.iambic.com/triptracker/wmppc/trial.asp) or this one (Windows Desktop) (http://www.iambic.com/triptracker/windows/trial.asp). Once you'll receive the full license you'll simply have to enter it in the about box (windows desktop) or in menu -> about -> enter code (WMPPC) to complete the trial to full version process.
- In order to successfully migrate your version 3 data in version 4 make sure to read and follow this knowledge base article (http://support.iambic.com/index.php?_m=knowledgebase&_a=viewarticle&kbarticleid=297). It contains our recommended steps, which are very much likely to get you up and running with version 4 in no time, while preserving all your previously entered data.
If you run into problems or you have questions, suggestions, etc. please open up a new thread in this forum and we'll follow-up accordingly.
