Synchroniztion misses items

Many thanks for your reply to my previous post.

I have also found problems with Synchronization. Although trips created on the PPC have appeared correctly in the desktop version after synchroniztion, some of the flights within a trip have not synchronized across to the desktop version.

I've moved your last post to its own thread so it's not lost. Can you please send me (mailto:qa@iambic.com) the .dat files from both Windows and Windows Mobile so I can try to replicate the issue.

Four further bugs:

1. If a trip is deleted from the desktop version, Synchronization does not delete it from the PPC version.
2. The Estimated Miles button on the Freq. Flyer Acct. tab of the Flight Segment menu does not work.
3. The View Reset layout button does not reset to the default layout even after restarting the application.
4. I have now received trial codes by email for both the desktop and PPC versions by using another email address in the trial download dialog. The desktop code has extended the desktop trial to 2 weeks, however the PPC code has not extended the PPC trial, which runs out after today.

Because of the last issue, I will not be sending any more bugs in until I receive the version 3 upgrade codes from you.

These were test files that I have already deleted, but when I see the problem again, I will send you the dat files. However, my PPC trial expires after today, so it probably won't be until after you've sent out the version 3 upgrade codes.

Hi,
Couple of things...

1. TripTracker 4.1 has been released (http://www.iampowered.com/archives/2008/06/26/triptracker_version_41_has_bee.php).

2. We are aware of a remaining issue where items added to the handheld while connected to the PC will not transfer until disconnect/reconnect. This is still a priority for us and will be addressed soon.

Is there a new version 4.1 of the PC desktop as well? The download listed as the desktop file is actually the EXE version of the Pocket PC module. So you have both CAB and EXE versions for the PPC, but no new desktop module listed.

Hmm. Not sure what link you're using, but here it's only the Win (http://www.iambic.com/triptracker/windows/download.asp)version.

It shows downloads for triptracker_ppc_en.cab under TripTracker for Windows Mobile Pocket PC Mobile-Ready Setup
and
triptracker_ppc_en.exe under TripTracker for Windows Mobile Pocket PC Desktop PC Setup

I see no triptracker_win_en.exe as there was under 4.0.

When I run triptracker_ppc_en.exe, it loads the pocket pc program, but not the desktop.


Am I on the wrong page?
