View Full Version : More TripTracker 4 Bugs

Four further bugs that I had posted in another thread, but I think they may have been missed, so I'm duplicating here:

1. If a trip is deleted from the desktop version, Synchronization does not delete it from the PPC version.
2. The Estimated Miles button on the Freq. Flyer Acct. tab of the Flight Segment menu does not work.
3. The View Reset layout button does not reset to the default layout even after restarting the application.
4. I have now received trial codes by email for both the desktop and PPC versions by using another email address in the trial download dialog. The desktop code has extended the desktop trial to 2 weeks, however the PPC code has not extended the PPC trial, which runs out after today.

Because of the last issue, I will not be sending any more bugs in until I receive the version 3 upgrade codes from you.

Hi Paul,

I have passed your report along. So when you apply the code for the ppc version the date is not extended? Am I understanding correctly?

I gently ask that you post one bug per thread (unless the bugs pertain the the exact same function). When posting indicate Version and Build number in the title with a very brief description of the problem.

The reason we ask this is that it makes it easier for users and developers alike to see the issues from the forum topics list. ;)

Dear iambic team,

I imported the data from my old version 3.2, but I found that of all imported items only the first letter shows up.

Furthermore the categories are not maintained - I see the flight symbol with every entry, except hotels. Some entrys are without any category.

And finally does the new version not support national characters, at least not the ä, ö, and ü which I as German occasionally need.

I am glad that the new version is finally there, but I think that it needs some more work until it is really useful.

Yes, you are correct - the code does not appear to extend the PPC trial length. Yesterday it was still telling me after the code was entered that I was on the last day of a three day trial. However it still works today and now tells me I have 2 more days of trial left!

In future I will post each bug in a separate thread.

Michael,

I tried to move the Frequent Flyer Accounts window on the left of the screen down and the Trip Manager window up. (The Trip Manager is far more important to me than the Frequent Flyer Accounts). This did not work properly because I could not get the FF window to dock below the TM window - it stayed in a window, which disappeared every time I closed the application and had to be re-opened. So I tried to reset the default layout, but the FF window did not reappear, even after restarting the app and remained unticked under the View menu
