Data plan needed?

A question: is a data plan necessary for Agendus to work? I have a Blackberry Curve from AT&T, but chose not to buy the data plan -- instead, I sync to Outlook via BB Desktop over USB.

(And -- I'm probably going to move to the Mac soon, and sync to iCal/Address Book there).

Are these configurations usable for Agendus? Will the BB app be complaining at me about not being able to get weather info, for example, or will it give up gracefully?

From past experience with Agendus on the Palm - it will use the native database on the blackberry, so whether you sync OTA or using the desktop manager via USB you should have no issues.

You do not have to update weather/quote/history and can remove them from your today page if you want in the today screen preferences.
