Michael and Adriano,
I installed build 112 last night on my BB8800 and did not see much difference from build 111. I believe the number one thing that your team needs to do now is to build out the preference selections available to the user. This is where the beauty of Agendus (or any premium PIM) is made.
On another note - I think you need to look at the way you open and close the PIM databases, my hunch is that Agendus is not properly closing the databases on the blackberry. I happen to have another PIM installed on my blackberry that has its own database that syncs to the native database. What I am seeing is that if I do not have Agendus installed on my Blackberry the other PIM does its database sync very quickly, but if Agendus is on my blackberry and has been opened the other PIM is contstantly syncing (it has an indicator that never goes away). If I have the other PIM open without Agendus the indicator goes away very quickly. Then I install Agendus and the indicator is still dormant. Once I open Agendus for the first time the indicator comes up and never leaves. I do select Exit or Close from the Agendus menu.

I agree, not much new from build to build.
In the Today View preferences there is a choice for "Maximum Items to Show" and "Show Messages for" X number of days. They are shown as two separate options but they are linked, i.e. if the number of items is set to 3 then number of days automatically changes to 3 and if the number of items is changed to 4 the number of days is also automatically changed to 4. Not a big issue, but a bug nevertheless. Oddly, my preferences are set to 3 items and 3 days but it shows appointments until next Tuesday (it is currently Wednesday).
It would be nice to be able to scroll right and left in Today View to be able to look forward and backward through dates. Same in "Week View Grid" and "Week View List", it would be nice to scroll to dates instead of having to use Menu "Go to date".
In Task View it would be very helpful to have a "Filter by priority" option in addition to the "filter by date" option.
Also I am still not able to view messages. My personal e-mail (rogers.com) and my work e-mail (Lotus Notes based via a BES), both available in the BB messages folder, do not appear in the Today View messages. Only the message count appears.

mdlissner & rnelson55,
Thanks for your feedback on 112. First of all you're right..feature-wise there wasn't a lot added in 112. However we did address some issues. Features will be an on-going thing. As far as the preferences, I agree that these are critical. As has already been documented the preferences are not complete, but are at the top of our list.

Are you cradled. Are you on BES or BIS (sorry if you already mentioned this elsewhere).

However, I'm not seeing this "linked" behavior. Also, the "number of days" is exclusive to email and doesn't affect appointments. It would be nice to be able to scroll right and left in Today View to be able to look forward and backward through dates. Michael,
The indicator I am talking about is the "sync" indicator in the other PIM program I have on my device. The other PIM syncs the native database to their proprietary database. When I have Agendus on my device it is always looking to sync.

Perhaps this is only an issue for me since messages are not working for me yet. I only mentioned messages again since one of your previous replies said you couldn't duplicate the message problem. :o
Looking forward to the next builds ..... keep up the good work.

Hi guys. I'm an Agendus fan for many years, and have several versions currently licensed for use on my treo 700p. I require separate phones for several business reasons, but suffice to say, I also have a BB Curve.
Yesterday, I purchased and installed build 112 on my Curve. I have to say that while I realize this is a beta, I am disappointed that the Agendus look and feel is not in this product. I had hoped that at a minimum, there would at least be the old view screens that we are all familiar with from Palm days.
If iambic is going use a long single screen approach rather than the multiple screen / areas that are available at a tap (click?) of the stylus at the bottom of the screen in the Palm version, then they should take a look at how PocketDay looks. Much more functional and far better looking.
PocketDay costs more... but I would gladly pay more for the iambic equivalent Palm version rewritten to run on a Blackberry, and delete PocketDay Pro. The Palm (iambic) product is vastly superior to this one.
Sorry guys but there are PIMs out there that blow this version away. My flame suit is on so have at it, but I think honest feedback is what the iambic folks are after. I still like Agendus for the Palm.

RFJohnston,
Thanks for your constructive criticism. First of all Agendus for Palm didn't look the way it does in version 1.0. We plan to add many, many more features and add to the functional and cosmetic appearance.
Yes PD is a nice app, but it's been around for a while and has matured. AGBB will do the same. As far as the "one screen" approach, I'm not sure what you're referring to. If you're simply comparing to Agendus for Palm, then it's not a fair comparison, as we're trying having to adapt to a non-touch screen device, plus with the expected BB behaviors.

actually the number one thing we are doing is working on serious bugs and issues appearing for certain users. First thing we want to make sure is that the app starts and behaves correctly for everyone.
After this is taken care of, then preferences.
I happen to have another PIM installed on my blackberry that has its own database that syncs to the native database.
are you referring to Pocket Day or to the other pim coming to BB we all know about? ;)
Also -- it would be great if instead of "consolidated feedback" sort of thread, each issue and suggestion could be reported separately. That would make keeping up with the conversations and topics much much easier :)
THanks!
- Adriano

Adriano - I did not name the other PIM on purpose, but I thought my comment that the PIM syncs its proprietaty database with the naïve one would clue you in that it is the one due out in August and not PocketDay.
