Error loading the application

Curve 8320, OS 4.5. English system, with Chinese support. Try to load the application and got the following error message three times. Same even after a reset.

Uncaught exception: java.lang.NullPointerException

Sounds like a language-related-issue.

Let us see if we can get a device with those characteristics --so we can try to reproduce the issue.

I couldn't even install the app on my BB 8130 Pearl, on Verizon Wireless (using the desktop manager). So I had the file sent to me as a text msg, and then installed it. It worked once, and then asked me if I wanted to eliminate the extra language packs (and just leave US English) to save memory. I said yes, it walked me through the process of eliminating the extra languages, and now I have the same exact "uncaught exception: java.lang.NullPointerException"

Sounds to me like you have an issue with the language functions. I tried to reinstall, but got the same issue. I'm going to try and delete Agendus from the BB and reinstall and see if that does anything...but I'm pretty sure that if I eliminate extra languages, I'll wind up with the same issue

I am getting the same error message except that I never got around to changing any language settings. It loaded the first time but did not load after that. I tried a reset but did not help. I uninstalled and reinstalled via ota. Same error message.

There's an Agendus for BB beta releases forum. Chances of getting an adequate/temporal solution --or at least to add this issue to the future fixes-- are much higher there.
