question about calendar and contacts

I am a new user and was wondering about a few things...

Is there a shortcut to go forward and backward a week on the weekly view? I know that there is a way on the drop down menu, but I like to be able to scroll quickly through the weeks....

Also, I am using a blackberry pearl...when I try to go through the contacts list if I enter a letter that is the second letter on the keyboard button, those contacts won't come up. For example...do get a list of last names beginning with F (since D and F share the key) I only get a list of D names.

A set of keyboard shortcuts would be a great additon to the program.

Using the N <Next> and B <Back> could be shortcuts to go forward or backward by the amount specified for the view:
- One Day for Day View
- One Week for Week View
- One Month for Month View
What is nice is that the B and N keys are right next to each other also.

Maybe a set of keyboard shortcuts to change views also:
- T for Today View
- D for One Day View
- W for Week View <User might have to specify in preferences which week view is their preferred for this or use L for Week List view>
- M for Month View
- C for Contact View
