Contact Options - Build 113

I just loaded build 113 onto a blackberry 8700 from T-Mobile replacing build 112 which I loaded this morning. The new build loaded fine. I have been playing with the application. I set up an appointment on my blackberry with a person who was not yet on my contacts list. The appointment set up fine and created a contact record with the new name from the appointment view. The appointment synched properly with Lotus Notes wirelessly. I have active To Do's in my task list but cannot see them in the today view, but they do show up in the Task View. I also cannot see any recent messages in the today view (I think this is a known issue). I also cannot update the weather.

Thanks for your feedback. Regarding tasks in the Today View...the Today View has a certain number of items it will show and is set at 3 by default. Despite the preferences are not yet finished, this particular setting is working. While in the Today View, go Menu->Preferences to change this setting.

Yes, issues with the Recent messages is a known and we're working on it.

Regarding the weather....are you able to update the Quote of the Day and Day in History? If you go Menu->9 Day Forecast is it blank?

Hi.

(1) I cannot get weather or the quote. It could be caused by security settings that my employer has imposed. I get an error message "error retrieving data" for both the weather and the quote.
(2) The task items - I have 4 tasks in my task view. Only one shows up in the Today view. The one that shows up was set up after the program was loaded and was due the next day - it is now correctly showing up as late in the Today view. The three tasks that do not show up in the Today view are the tasks are "in progress" and were set up prior to loading the application. They are due sometime later in the month. I expect the task list in the today view to show me tasks that I need to work on (all due today/late/or in progress). And I probably would like to be able to link from this section to the full task list view (as I usually have many tasks).

#1. This is very possible. You can check to see if you have access to the security for AGBB by going to Options->Advanced Options->Applications. Then go Menu->Edit default permissions.

#2. Check the Today View preferences for how many items to show.

1) Permissions were "custom" I changed them all to allow. I still get the error message - error retrieving data (by the way this is spelled wrong in the application).

(2) Maximum items to show in the Today View Preferences is 4 - with multiline option checked. At present none are showing up despite me having 3 "in progress" to do's.
