I know you probably have a whole slew of things to add to this but here are my initial comments as a person who used Agendus for Palm religiously until forced to switch to the blackberry. I see that I will be a heavy user of the today view as what I liked about Agendus is being able to see everything on one screen (tasks, calendar), integrating appts with contact information, and color coding/using icons to manage different projects/categories of items.
Despite the fact that many of the most important things are not yet available, I like the look of the today screen although I do not like the navigation. I agree with other users about shortcut keys. I will probably get carpal tunnel syndrome clicking this many times. Also I find my self continually minimizing views (calendar/todo etc) in the Today view as my brain wants a "create new" menu to pop up when I am on the separator bar (date/Task/Recent Messages) instead of mimimizing that section. It is not intuitive to have to select an entry in order to create a new item. I hope this makes sense.
