Palm to Blackberry?

I'm looking at Agendus as a way to make a smooth (but very reluctant :( )transition from Palm on my beloved Treo to a Blackberry.

Has anyone made this trip and if so can advise me on the steps I need to go through and any "gotchas"?

No gotcha's at all. The BB Desktop will import your Palm Desktop data directly. I went from a T|X to a BB 8330 and have not lost any of my tasks, appointments, memos, etc.

You will have to find some replacements for some of the Palm legacy software but there are more BB apps each day. Go ahead and take the plunge. You won't be sorry.

The folks at hofo and bbforums are also a great help. The fact that Agendus is being ported to the BB proves my point that Palm is dying and on it's way out.

Go ahead and take the plunge. I did a few months ago and other than not yet having a fully functional PIM as good as some of them for Palm (DateBk, Agendus) I prefer my 8830. Much better email handling, good sound quality and lots of new apps coming (including Agendus beta which is moving in right direction).

I have synced to MS Outlook and had zero problem saving a populating data on my BB.
