View Full Version : Tasks in AGBB113 - Time Issue

When I create a task in BB application, it appears just fine in AG113. However, when creating a task in AG113, and setting a completion time (ie 2:00pm) the time jumps ahead by 7 hours (ie 9:00pm). I'm sure this is due to the fact that my time zone in the USA is Mountain Time (-7).
The real problem occurs when I make any type of change to the task in AG (ie add or modify a note) and the time jumps again by 7 hours.
To be honest, I was always a bit confused as to the purpose of putting a time-zone in the task manager, but I'm curious how to manage this time issue in AG113

Hi,
I'm not real sure exactly how you're making this happen. Could you please provide exact steps from the point you open the Task edit dialog?
Also is this on a new or existing task, or does it make any difference?

Sure...
I create a New task in AG with the following parameters:
Status: Not Started
Priority: Normal
Due: By Date
August 9, 2008 8:00 AM (one day in future...)
Contact: empty
Description: Test 1
Repeat: None
Category: empty
note: empty
I then select OK from the menu to save.
If I immediately reopen the task in the BB Tasks application, I see the Test 1 task but the due field now says: By Date, Sat, Aug 9, 2008 2:00 PM
If I leave the BB Tasks application and open AG and the Test1 task, it also says Due: By Date Aug 9, 2008 2:00 PM.
If I leave the task in AG without making any changes, the Date and Time will remain unchanged, but if I make any change (add a note for example) and select OK to save the change, when I reopen the task in AG the Due field now reads: Aug 9, 8:00 PM.
This time shift continues and would eventually change the date as well and the due time jumps forward.
BTW, it doesn't seem to matter whether it is new task or a previous task that was originally created in BB Tasks application. Whenever I save or resave in AG, the time shifts.
I also just updated to build 115 but am experiencing the same issue...
Hope that helps.
