When Contact View Compact is selected, most contacts have one of the contact fields displayed (work or home or e-mail, etc). However, for some reason they are different for each contact. The odd one does not even have a field displayed dispite the fact that there is data in many of the contact records fields. Does anyone know how to select the default field to display and/or how to change the displayed field for a given contact?

Hello,
Currently you cannot define the default to display, but this is something on our list for a future update. For the one which doesn't show any displayed field, can you tell me the specific phone fields in use and what is not?

Sure. It has a work, home, & mobile phone number and two e-mails addresses.
The other problem is that the field shown for each record seems to jump all over the map. Sometimes it is home, sometimes it is work, and sometimes it is even e-mail! There does not seem to be any rhyme or reason.
If I cannot select the default field, can I at least designate it individually for each record?
Cheers!

Hi John,
Not yet, but that's in the plans.

Is it planned to be selectable globally with the ability to override the global setting on a per record basis?

The plan is per record only at this time.

Ok, thanks for clarifying. I guess I'll just have to be patient.
Cheers!
