Icon for daily journal

I have just started using the Daily Journal feature.

When I create a new journal, is it possible to have a feature to set a default icon for the journal? At the moment it doesn't automatically assign an icon when you create the journal entry

A few more requests on daily journal.

1. Ability to "snap" to larger time intervals. I don't really care whether I made an entry on 4:07pm, for example. It would look better if it would snap to 30 minutes or 1 hour intervals. This behavior (and the time interval) should be set from preferences.

2. Use of a bullet point should be optional. Unfortunately I must use a 2-byte Windows system (Korean to be exact), and any characters above normal ASCII range do not translate too well.
