View Full Version : Fatal Error while updating to 1.00.129

I downloaded the ZIP file from the Update email I received regarding 1.0.
When the Application Loader updates the BB it gives "A Fatal error has occurred while updating your device's software. Please try again".
It gives the same error after trying again.
On the BB no data can be seen in the Calendar (all views, it says *empty*) while it is there when using the native BB calendar.
The About shows 1.00.121.
I tried to download again with the same results.

Hi,
Can you please try uninstalling the build of Agendus you have now via Options > Advanced Options > Applications, then soft reset and try installing again? Also make sure you actually have 129.
Additionally there is a new beta available that you may want to install instead. You can find it here (http://support.iambic.com/forum/showthread.php?t=35053).

Thank you.
I followed your instructions, removed, then installed the built 132 and I get the same results. No calendar data.
Contacts works great but Tasks and Calendar (in all views) is either blank or with the *No Items* words in the weekly view.
Anything else I can try?

Do you have OS 4.5? If so, it sounds like you may be suffering from our yet-to-be-supported multiple calendar issues. Currently, AGBB will only support calendar entries which are on the default email account. We plan to add this support in an upcoming update.

I guess I'll have to wait.... BUT now I can't sync the BB with Outlook! It wants to delete all the meetings I had prior to the day I installed version 1.00.132 and add the 8 items I added after installing 1.00.132 using Outlook calendar.
I totally removed Agendus from the BB and I still get the Sync warning that all my meetings prior to the installation of 1.00.132 date will be deleted from Outlook!
I had to change the Sync configuration and forced a Sync from Outlook into the BB. It added the 8 new meetings. I installed Agendus again and now I can see the 8 new items in ALL views!!! This is strange. I hope that my next meeting will be updated since it is working now, but ONLY with the meetings / appointments I added since installation date.
What's going on???

I have the same problem.
I have not found a solution.
It's not a problem with Agendus, it's a Blackberry issue.
I experienced the problem long before installing Agendus.
If you, or anyone else, finds a solution, let me know. A one way sync of meeting is not acceptable.

You're right. One way Sync is not really Sync, it is more like a backup. At that point you may lose or have to manually enter it again on the Source machine.
Not acceptable, but so far it is the only reliable way to safely have updated data on both the PC and BB.
The only reason I use Outlook is because BB won't use any other straight forward system. I would prefer Thunderbird which I use for email. I use Outlook only for Contacts and Calendar. A lot of wasted effort there....
