View Full Version : Problems with recurring appointments

I searched through the forum and didn't see this so apologies if I missed it.

I have a BB Pearl 8130 with Sprint, v4.3.0.127, have not upgraded OS, 13211034 bytes free, besides the Sprint software, have Splash ID

I am still having problems with recurring appointments that show up in Calendar. Does not show up at all on Today View. For other views, one day, week, it's a day off (Oct 18 birthday appears on Oct 19)

I'm not able to reproduce this one day off problem with recurring events in the Today View. Do they appear on the correct day in other calendar views? Do they appear correctly in the native calendar app?

Can you provide a screenshot of your Today View, along with a screenshot of another calendar view, where it shows correctly?

Yes, it's correct in the native calendar application, entourage and outlook. It's not showing up at all in Today's view and a day late on the one-day and week views.

Are these appointments timed? When you are looking at the Today View, has the time of the appt passed? The Today View is designed to not show appt in which their time has passed, but only pending appts and All Day appts.

These appointments are checked as all day event in the native calendar. On the day of the birthday, it should have showed up but didn't.

I just set up a recurring yearly appointment and it showed up. Strange. May have to re-enter all of the birthdays.

Just occurred to me when I opened the series instead of occurrence. These recurring yearly appointments were set up in 2007 so did that messed things up? They are still showing up in the native application in 2008, 2009, etc
