Was there any other information on the error? Do you have an IT policy on your device?

There is an IT policy, but this did not prevent me from installing ver 1.00. There was no other message - just that a fatal error occurred and that I should try again. The first time, it reset my device, then after that simply stopped and went back to the desktop manager.

Thanks for the help.

Not sure what an IT policy is, so I guess the answer is no. LOL. I actualy was able to upgrade wirelessly via wifi connection and working fine.

How do you upgrade wirelessly? I don't see that option on my menu. I couldn't get the .jad file to load.

I have a Tmobile Curve with WiFi capabilities, downloaded the jad file at a hotspot without difficulty

What do you do with the .jad file once it is downloaded.
