I love your product and going to order it sometime today.

However I'm having a problem. I'm using a Clie 760 with Arabic support. The Arabic support dosen't provide high resultion font yet so thats bad as I usually have to turn Hi-Res off in programs that I use arabic in. Now your program does the weardest thing for me.

First off I have Hi-Res on and Large font in the contacts. The contact names in Arabic only apear on the first four lines any other contacts after the four lines writen in arabic don't appear. Also arabic isn't shown on any other screen of the software. Now this would be normal since Arabic support is not ready for Hi-Res but what really got my attention and I made me want this to work in any possible way is that the contacts that appear ont he first 4 lines are perfect Arabic! In Hi-Res I get very bad arabic writing and I hate it and couldn't read it. But your software did something I never saw. This made me optimistic and hopeful and made me in love with your software as i think you might be my hope for Hi-Res Arabic. Arabic is still bad in the contact view but I think your not using the same techniech there?

I would like to work with you on this if possible and help in transulating the software if interested. I run the only Palm Os Arabic community on the net and your software would be loved by all the Arabic users if enough work is put into it.

Also I would love to see a new feature in your product. The ability to to change the first day of the week. Also a world clock would be great.

Hope to hear positive news from you soon.

Hi,

I know that using some third party hacks, etc. it is possible to operate the Palm is languages beyond what is current officially supported by Palm. I assume this what you are using. However, we normally only support the languages that the Palm is officially translated into and therefore not Arabic at this time.

Our point of view is that there is a significant additional cost to support a language that is not supported by Palm, so unless the market opportunity grows large we probably cant address it. Feel free to send me a private message if you would like to discuss further. I really dont know much about the market in your area.

There already is a preference to change the starting day of the week in the Palm itself. If you change this, Action Names will detect it.

Best regards,

Vidal.

Thank you for your responce. I've emailed you a long and borng email :)

As for the first day of the week its true the Palm OS has it but it only makes a chouce between Monday or Sunday when back home the first day of the week is Saturday and I don't know about other nations. So we still need an option for the the first day of the week.
