Agendus for Blackberry 1.1 Build (140) Comments

Hi Guys,

Nice work on Build 140. Some key enhancements that I belive need to be added to the functionality now that the basics seems very stable and fast.

- Task sorting options like in palm and desktop version of Agendus
- A One Day list view with calendar items shown before tasks.
- Ability to have seven day list view start on the current day

A minor glitch I have found:

- The preference to have tasks due today shown in bold is not working properly for me. If I task is set to be due at 3:00 AM today it is not shown in Bold, but ones at 3:00 AM tomorrow are shown in Bold. Anything before 5:00 AM today is not shown in Bold (4:59 AM is not bold, 5:00 AM is bold).

New tasks are off by the same 5 hours from m$y user defined time.

My setting is 6AM, they show up at 11AM.

In Preferences for tasks there is a setting to choose the default time of a new task created in Agendus. Mine is set to 6AM.

When I create a new task the time is set to 11AM.

Is that enough info?

Ah ok. Hmm. That was working properly in an earlier build. Some other change must have affected it inadvertently. Thanks.

I know that most of the items I put in my first post are on the list of feature enhancements. My number one need is for the addition of either a day view list or an Agenda view as is I used in the Palm OS version. This is what I live by.

Right now I have to use the Week View List and as the week gets longer I need to scroll to get to my current items.

So either a day view list or the ability to set the first day in Week View List to the current day instead of just Sunday or Monday would be a great short term solution.

Correct when entering week view list it goes to today. The issue is what happens when I edit an item or mark a task complete. With these actions Agendus brings me back to the top of the window, which for me is Sunday. Now if you have two or three appoinments listed per day you have a long way to scroll come Friday to get to today.

I love the look, but need a view with today's items only in a list mode with meetings listed before tasks.
