Daily Journal Bug

Ever since my calendar was hooked to my workgroup via Outlook (and PocketMirror), I have desired the ability to use the Journal feature after markeing the "Daily Journal" item Private. There have been some suggestions in the Yahoo group that this issue was fixed in AN5, but my tests here (Vx, 3.5, no hacks) suggest that the bhavior is the same as always.

Create a new journal entry.
Mark journal as a private record.
Create anoother journal record.
AN creates a second "Daily Journal" entry.

Fixing this would be enough for me to upgrade from 4.61 to 5, but so far it seems I am out of luck.

Any ideas or suggestions Iambic, anyone?

Many thanks, MonsterCrash! I think you'd be surprised how much this small fix will mean to me and the way I work, and I eagerly await 5.01. Without holding anyone to anything, is there a time frame for 5.01's release?

5.01 will be released when it's complete and confirmed :)
I'm sorry about the vagueness of that but hopefully this will be soon. It really all depends on any additional issues reported in 5.0 and the speed at which these can be corrected.

That's a fair reply, and the truth is it makes a lot more sense than shooting for a date and including only those fixes which are done at that point.
