Can not open Agendus on Blackberry Bold - please help!

Is there any error message appearing on the screen? Also just to make sure, from your bold's browser, visit http://dl.iambic.com/agbb (it will trigger the download & re-install of the latest released version).

When I downloaded Agendus it opened fine. I got out of it and now I can not get it to open. I have tried to download it again and it will just not open. I am thinking about doing a reset that takes me back to the start (hard reset) but I don't know how to do that either. Please help!

to reset your bb phone:

1. turn it off (hold the "hang up" button for a few secs till you see the message "turning off your phone" on the screen)
2. open the battery compartment and pull out the battery.
3. leave the battery out for a few secs
4. put the battery back in
5. the phone will turn itself on and reboot

No app or data is lost during the process above. You should be back in business after 3 - 4 mins (takes a while for BB phones to reboot).

Sounds like the exact same problem that im having. Now no matter what it, will not open--after resets, reloads etc. i would appreciate any help on this one.:(

walltech -- sorry for the super late reply on what you posted. Assuming you Curve is still affected by the same problem when trying to launch Agendus, have you tried an uninstall / reinstall just to see if that would clear up the issue?

Also, do you get any error message when selecting Agendus to have it start, and instead it doesn't?

My problems with Agendus on my BB Bold are the reason for joinig this community today. So First: hello everybody.

I experience the same drawbacks as described by donnellgroup:

I switched from Treo 650 to BB Bold and Agendus was my reason for not chosing the NOKIA E71. I had AGENDUS on my Palm and still have it on my desktop computer, but was very disappionted after installation of Agendus on the BOLD. I was able to open it once but after I closed the program I could not reopen it. I have uninstalled and installed it several times now, did soft resets... but nothing changes. No error messages, just no reply at all.

Any suggestions?

I'm sorry that your first experience was not a good one. Can you try getting us your log as described here (http://support.iambic.com/index.php?_m=knowledgebase&_a=viewarticle&kbarticleid=308)?

Hello,

I'm having the same issue with Agendus not opening. I have uninstalled, and reinstalled it. When I reinstall it then it opens and functions fine a few times, but eventually it will not open again. I have removed the battery, restarted the phone etc. Nothing works unless I keep uninstalling it.

I have the Blackberry Pearl Flip 8220.

Previous versions of Agendus worked on my Bold. However, the latest update does not open. No error, just no function as described by others. Have deleted and reloaded several times, no function. Have attempted to download from various places on the site. ???

Rolling back to obsolete version 1.12 146 works on my Bold. Agendus once again runs. Hope this helps someone in diagnostics.

Mostly install to my Bold OTA. Mostly sync via desktop manager and USB, though sometimes sync via bluetooth connection. Have not synced at all since this problem occured so all activity has been OTA

Same problem here. Agendus worked fine for awhile, but now when I click the Icon for it, it will not open. This happened when I was trying out the trial version, too. I just deleted it and then redownloaded it OTA, and it worked again, so I purchased it at 50% off. Now it's hung up again, it's won't open, and now I'm thinking I just threw away $10. Certainly there must be a fix to this - that's why I took the chance at purchasing knowing that there might be a problem. I am brand new to the Blackberry.
I don't know what the "log" is referenced in one of the other posts. Will that tell me what is wrong?

Hi guys,
Thanks for your replies. Can we please get some logs from you. Please try launching Agendus once before retrieving it. You will need to use the method of retrieval via the DTM, as described here (http://support.iambic.com/index.php?_m=knowledgebase&_a=viewarticle&kbarticleid=308).
