View Full Version : Unable to re-install v4.11

Suddenly v4.11 has stopped synching with my phone. As a last resort I uninstalled triptracker on my PC (Windows XP SP2) and reloaded the PC. Then I re-installed TT and tried to run it. All I get now is 'There was an error opening the triptracker database. please uninstall and reinstall....' and trip tracker won't run at all

It looks like the original uninstall has left something in a weird state. Anyone any idea how to get out of this?

Partly solved it....renamed the triptracker.dat file in my docs to oldtriptracker.dat and TT now loads...must have been a corrupt TT.dat file...now for the synch problems!!!!

Would you mind emailing me (mailto:qa@iambic.com) your "old" .dat file? I'll see if we can determine the problem. If you do email it, please reply here that you've done so.
