View Full Version : Agendus for Storm-Unstable

I have removed & reinstalled Agendus 5 times in the last 6 days on my new Storm. Problems when trying to view in week modes. The week list mode is not displayed properly, many empty spaces between days & tasks. When I try to view in grid week-takes a while to load, once loaded works fine until I exit the program then I am unable to reenter the program. When I press the Agenda icon-for a split second the week grid view is on the screen then agenda closes.

I did a battery pull-same problem, the only way to fix is to remove/reinstall the program.

I terribly sorry to hear that you're having these problems with Agendus. We've not had reports such as this from other Storm users. There must be something about your data that Agendus is not liking, specifically something that's displayed in the Week Grid View.

Can you answer these questions?:

- Do you sync with a desktop client? If so which one (e.g., Outlook, Lotus, etc.) or do you sync with a web client (e.g., Google, Yahoo, etc.)
- What type of network is your device on (BIS, BES or neither)?
- Do you have any other PIM replacement apps installed? If so what titles?

Could you please try reproducing the problem again and immediately afterward, send us your log as described here (http://support.iambic.com/index.php?_m=knowledgebase&_a=viewarticle&kbarticleid=308)? Because you can't completely launch Agendus, you may need to opt for the method of retrieving the log via the Desktop Manager.

Once you've sent the log, please reply here that you've done so.

Thanks in advance for you help, as we would really like to determine why this is happening for you.

I synce with Blackberry Desktop Manager version 4.7.0.32, on a BIS network.

what is PIM replacemtns apps-is that personal assistants-if so no except for the BB calendar.

I emailed the log to community forum-not sure if correct

great product & been using on Windows & all my palm & now BB for years.

I roughly have the same problems with Agendus on my 9500 Storm.
Day-view and month-view work OK, week-view, especialy week-grid (which is my preferred view by ALL means) is hardly working. It takes minutes to build up the screen or doesn't come up at all.

I sync with Outlook via USB-cable, no BB dataplan, no NIS or BES.

I used to have Agendus on my Treo650 and it worked superb, but this version is much less intuitive, reuires many more clicks. Not too happy with Agendus right now.

We cannot reproduce it taking "minutes" to populate the Week Grid view or any other views. I can only speculate that your device is running low on program memory. Can you try a battery pull, then after reboot immediately open Agendus and see if the behavior is any different?
