Just installed the H&D and I am very excited to have a slick app to track food. I have been looking for one for a while on the Blackberry. I've had to adjust to the BB; I'm a Palm guy at heart.

Anyway, I've noticed a few things and thought I would post them. They may be glitches or just my suggestions for future upgrades.

There are:

It is a little confusing to get started without a manual, but once you figure out the profile and how to start journaling for the day it's not bad.

The exercise tracker keeps reverting a session to 19 hours and 30 minutes after I've changed it to just 30 minutes twice. I'd love to burn 16,000 calories.

You can only have 2 summary lines at the top. I understand real estate issues, but it doesn't remember the 2 I want. Can you make this sticky? It always reverts back to Meals and Calories.

When I enter a custom meal/food, can I make this a favourite? I even tried in the food db, but it only searchs the db to create multi item meals. When I enter a custom food item, it would be great to have an checkbox to make it a favourite. I tend to add custom foods as I can create from the label and then just use them as favs. This would be very helpful.

WW points. Fabulous!! I've looked even longer for this! I used to use an old app on the Palm until WW themselves made them stop. H&D doesn't seem to auto calculate the points. I set the option to do this but it doesn't work. I need to enter the points myself. Am I missing something? Can you also have the main view show the points for each item?

Navigation on the BB is a bit clunky (yes I wish it was a touch screen like Palm!) Anyway, it doesn't seem consistant. Sometimes I need to click the app button to get to an OK screen when entering stuff. Other times, I can click cancel and I get a SAVE pop up. The radio buttons are the worst. After I fill a radio button, I have no idea what to do. BB norm is to click to activate, but H&D is to click app button. Maybe if you add a NEXT button on these radio button screens, at least then I would have some where to scroll and then click again.

Scrolling seems to be a bit much. You sometimes need to scroll all the way back to the top to change something and that's a long way. Maybe canceling and redoing the search? Still not pretty.

Editing a Meal -(actually, can you call it item or food? Meal tends to mean more than 1 item, I digress). The menu item to edit a Meal/food is Edit Activity and is confusing. If you're only going to have the one edit option, maybe call it Edit Item OR add a second option Edit Meal/food.

Graphs - can you graph other useful stats? Total calories and points per day?

That's all for now. I hope you take this as a sign that I really like what I'm seeing and that I would love to see it improve. I think this could be a great application.

Thank you!

SHH,

thank you so much for your feedback and suggestions here -- this is just a quick note letting you know I read what above.

We'll go through your feedback and move forward adding to our feature list what makes sense no questions asked, and follow-up here on some of the points if any might require clarification / discussion / etc.

Thanks again!

Day 2 and I have found how to save my custom foods that I've added. I need to this in the Food Database. AND I can make them favourites! This is great, as I tend to add all the stuff I eat regularly as custom (as the nutritional values can differ from the generics in the DB).

And as creatures of habit, we usually eat the same foods over and over. So now I can search for my custom foods as well as all the others in the DB.

I've also created a custom category for all the foods I enter, but haven't found how that's related when you're searching for a meal you've eaten. In the Locate Food screen, there are only 7 groups. Are these related to categories?

Getting used to using it now. Still liking it...

Hi shetheri,
A late follow up here for you.

The exercise tracker keeps reverting a session to 19 hours and 30 minutes after I've changed it to just 30 minutes twice. I'd love to burn 16,000 calories. Is this still happening? If so can you give me a simply scenario to make it happen?

You can only have 2 summary lines at the top. I understand real estate issues, but it doesn't remember the 2 I want. Can you make this sticky? It always reverts back to Meals and Calories. Each of the summary lines are dropdown lists. If you will press your trackball on either of them you will see.

Scrolling seems to be a bit much. You sometimes need to scroll all the way back to the top to change something and that's a long way. Maybe canceling and redoing the search? Still not pretty. Can you tell me where it is you're being required to scroll? In most of the food lists you can narrow the list by entering the first few characters of what you're looking for. Keeping in mind that many of the food items carry proper names

Total calories and points per day?Not at this time, but hopefully in a future update.

Thanks again for your feedback. We look forward to hearing more from you.

This health & diet manager has caught my eye. Disappointed it is not available for the iphone 3g. Any plans for an app for iphone 3g?

I currently use a program from www.livestrong.com. I love it. It syncs automatically, and I have yet to come up empty handed with the food data base. HOWEVER, it does not have option to track blood sugar readings, blood pressure, or pulse. They have plans on adding these options.

Looking forward for a possible iphone 3g application????? any hope?

Right now Iambic is working on getting Agendus for iPhone into the app store. We'll see how that works and then base future iPhone app plans on that.

Sorry, have been busy elsewhere. Have to admit I haven't used this much after the first couple of weeks, but will attempt to give my feedback replies to the questions below. I think this could be a great product! Maybe it's just got too much in it and I'm looking for something simpler.

-I think you've fixed the calorie counts for exercies in the last release.

Each of the summary lines are dropdown lists. If you will press your trackball on either of them you will see.
- yes I can get another one to display, but when I exit and come back in it reverts to the original two. Can this be set to be sticky?

Can you tell me where it is you're being required to scroll? In most of the food lists you can narrow the list by entering the first few characters of what you're looking for. Keeping in mind that many of the food items carry proper names
- usually in the food lists. I just need to be more descriptive in what I'm searching for.
