I have Version 3.1 of the Mobile and the Desktop Versions. I have Windows Mobile 6.1 and Vista; I make the majority of my entries on the desktop, but would like thenm to sync to the phone, a MOTO Q9c - however - it never happens --
Also, is there a manual for the desktop version? the mobile one doesn't mention Sync issues...

What sync software are you using? Or are you using an Exchange server?

I use Windows Mobile Device on the PC - ActiveSync on the phone - it synchronizes everything else... even has an entry for HDM - but uneditable -

When you plug your Q in, does ActiveSync start? Can you see that the Calendar is syncing? Can you see appointments in the standard Q calendar?

Okay, thanks for the reply. Before I got this Omnia, I had a Q9c, and didn't have problems, so hopefully I can help you out...

What do you mean by this? If I am interpreting your posts correctly, the appointments are entered into Agendus Desktop, you sync, they show up in Q's native calendar app, but they don't show up *at all* in Agendus Mobile.
If that's the case, check to make sure you don't have any filters turned on in Agendus.
OR are you saying the Categories, etc. don't show up in Agendus?
And to answer one of your first questions, there is a Manual at:

Have you tried re-installing the desktop version?

I have been hesitant to do so - there is no manual available for the product, so I can't determine what I am going to lose when I do so - I have seen posts that state lost data -
Is this a "shotgun" suggestion, or you have you actually done this before?

When you uninstall a program, or reinstall over an existing one, you do not delete the data. You can always copy your data file to another directory just to be sure.

Some Smartphone (Windows Mobile Standard) devices on particular carriers have a security feature that the carrier chose to implement that can pose a sync problem at times. Please try the Device Security Manager PowerToy for Windows Mobile (http://www.microsoft.com/downloads/details.aspx?FamilyID=7E92628C-D587-47E0-908B-09FEE6EA517A&displaylang=en).
It is completely harmless to use this. It is actually distributed by Microsoft. For your own peace of mind, you can do a backup first if you wish.
- Once installed on your PC, launch it, then connect your device.
- Once it recognizes your device, on the left pane select 'No Security'
- Select 'Provision'.
- A .cab file will be sent to your device which will remove the security.
- Once this is done, disconnect, reinstall HDM for Windows
- Reconnect and try getting HDM to sync
