Web based Calendar/Contact Entry

Why don't you set up something similar to iCal on the Apple website that would allow people to make entries to a subscribed account from their web browsers and then sync to their PDAs later?

I don't see any very good examples of this out there right now.

it's a good idea... unfortunately requires a good amount of work. It will be something we could look into in the future.

While they are not taking new end-users right now, your ISP or Telco may be one of their clients so the service might be available.
