In older versions, new todos had today's date. Now they are undated.
There should be a way to default todos to today's date.

I am delighted to hear that this has been fixed for 5.01. 24 hours of using V5 and this was driving me mad! When will we see 5.01?:)

Haven't upgraded to 5.0 yet for one reason - not sure I wanted to deal with having to manually set the date on todo's. Many of the other enhancements sound very good.
Happy to see on these posts that 5.01 changes the default back to today, however, one added comment: I believe AN4 defaulted the todo to the date that you had displayed (not necessarily "today"), so, I'm hoping that functionality was added back in, not just to today's date. I think I'll wait for 5.01.
Notwithstanding the above, AN has been THE most useful and most used product on my Palm, very happy with it.

Yes I agree - it should default to the displayed day, not today, just like it used to. The best would be a preferences setting where you could select "current day"/"today"/"no date" - that would please everyone.
