I don't know where to post this since there doesn't seem to be a support forum.

My question is simple. Does Agendus support templates? If it does, I'll probably buy it for the Palm and for Windows. Otherwise, it'll have to wait.

BTW, I did do a bunch of searches through these forums and all I could find were some really old messages from Iambic saying that they WOULD add template supprort some day.

Thanks for your help!

templates are not available in the current version. Though you can duplicate events then edit the duplicate. Or you could schedule a followup event. Using either method the contact and description are automatically inserted in the duplicate or followup event. Possibly this will meet your needs. Templates maybe added in a future version.

Nope. Unfortunately, that just won't do it. I put formatted entries in my calendar for business milesage, travel expenses, entertainment expenses and a few other things that are applicable to that day. Setting up something recurring will mean that I get way to many empty entries. I need to have some simple template functionality.

I found a pretty old post (1-2 years old I think) that upcoming template functionality being incorporated into the product. It's a bummer that nobody got around to adding it yet.

Good luck. If you do get around to updating it, please post a reply to this forum topic. I'm subscribed and will get notification.

Do the current versions of Agendus (either Pro or Standard) offer templates for meetings? The absence of templates is the only thing standing in the way of my buying Agendus.

I just created some calendar entries and backdated them to 2001 (outside the range of my calendar sync) to use as templates. Set them up with category, contact, icon, etc. Then on the list view I go to the date these templates are set for, then duplicate the event. Change the date and I'm set.

As you can tell, I think templates would be fantastic.

I also think that being able to save different date ranges for use in list view (useful for sports calendars, school years, etc) would be good.

RP--

What method are you using to to define the range of your calendar sync?

Thanks.

I use Intellisync and there is an option in there to set the date range you want to sync.
