Maybe this would involve Palm's cooperation to make it possible, but if I could set an option in a Meeting to suppress phone rings for the duration of the meeting, I would upgrade to Action Names 5 and buy a Palm cellphone in a flash.

I have so many recurring appointments that can't be interrupted by a ringing phone, and it would be worth so much to have my Palm remember to turn my phone off for me.

Thanks for listening!

This may not be exactly what you are looking for, but Four Sqaure Development has a program called Silence that will enable both scheduled periods of silence and also silences invoked by a customisable stylus stroke.

I have my Vx set to shut up between 1am and 6am, and then for a bunch of meetings that recur at various intervals. Similarly, if I know I will be at a meeting, I can add it to Silence and just have it trigger for that one event. And if I am called into a meeting last minute, I swipe my Vx with my thumb from the Find to the Calc button and I get an hour of Silence (you can later the period as you see fit).

Hope that's of some help,
