I am just testing Agendus sync with MS Outlook and I am completly dissatisfied with that solution. Simply there is no synchronization.
My config:
Outlook - I am using Personal Folders (place of delivery)
Agendus for Win - Data source set to Outlook, Access data in default folders ... check tested for both status
HotSync - iambic Agendus Extras set to Synchronize as well as Date Book, Adres Book, To Do List, Memo Pad
Results:
I can see all my data from Outlook inside Agendus for Win,
While performing HotSync:
- data from Agendus for Win is not transfered to hendheld,
- data from hendheld Agendus is transfered to Palm Desktop instead od Agendus for Win and from Palm Desktop to handheld Agendus.
Is it something wrong in my configuration or shall I try another product like DocumentsToGo?
I would like to add that main disadvantage of iambic solution is that user cannot specify Outlook folders to be synchronized.

Hi,

You need to install the conduits to Outlook that came with the install CDROM for your Palm, Sony, or Handspring device. Each of these manufacturers ships optional softare that syncs your Palm with Outlook. By default, the Palm will sync to Palm Desktop which is not what you want if you are using Outlook. Since this is provided with each device, Agendus does not include it. The Agendus Extras conduit is for syncing your icons and other Agendus preferences and not Datebook, Todos, Contacts, and Memos.

Best regards,

Vidal.

Thanks for reminding me that I just needed to reload the Palm CD and have the Outlook conduits added................whew. I just wished that I had found your answer first. I tried all the other things recommended and spent a lot of time with no success, until your answer. Judy
