Occassionally, about 3 - 4 times a months, after I syncronize my Visor Deluxe with Act! 2000 using the Act! Link 2.0, I end up with ALL entries in duplicate on BOTH my Visor and my Act! In other words, if I have 500 contacts, I'll end up with 1,000. I have absolutely no idea why this happens.
The problem is two-fold:
1. How to prevent this from happening again.
2. How to fix the database now. What I have done in the past is revert to my last backed-up DB from Act!, but then I lose all the new information. And, no, I don't want to backup before EVERY syncronization.
