I have a lot of compliments for Agendus 6.01. But my evaluation of All Time his not in same way. First, it would be good to have a synchronisation with Agendus when we have it installed. Second, I am a CLIE SJ30 owner and the HotSync abourt at the end and I need to initialise the CLIE. Third, somtimes some client dispears from the Client list, Fourth, I need to use the details button to manualy set the rate when I had programmed a Client with Activity. Fifth, There is no cancel button to the creation windows, Sixth, in Auto log it is not possible to modify the mile rate without the converter window and Seventh, the split screen does'nt work well. The first Detail dialog box is freeze on a 0.79¢ even I write an amount!

So, this product announces many great features but it has many bugs. The Time Manager is too expensive and I think thak it is based on All Time...

Sorry

Interesting suggestions Couette. I've had similar cravings for better AllTime-Agendus integration, but to tell the truth I'm keeping my mouth shut about new feature requests because I don't want Iambic to spend any more time between now and the release of an OS 5 compatible version of AllTime than they absolutely have to.

That said, let me expand on your first request. What do you mean by "synchronize"? I can tell you what I'd like to see:

I'd like to be able to grab a company name from my address book, whether there's Agendus installed or not

I'd also like to see "start task with AllTime" as a pop-up menu in the to-do list and calendar in Agendus. Pre-fill the description and contact, and i could do that right from my to-do list. That would be sweet!

Second sounds like a bug that needs fixing.

Third: I'm not certain, but it may be that you're messing yourself up with the projects not being associated with a client. Selecting a project, AllTime wants to fill in a client unless it's blank for that project. I seem to remember that if I had a single space in the client field of the project that it would fill in that space. Again, I'm not certain. It may be a bug that I haven't run into, but play with that and see if it helps.

Fourth: it sounds like you may need to set "rate" to "Client/Project" in *both* the Client entry.

Fifth: if it's a blank entry, you can hit "done" and it won't show up. If it's filled in and you want to cancel, you can use the "delete" button to cancel. It would be nice if there were a way to cancel a mistake made in editing an existing time record, but I believe that AllTime treats these time entries as live items. What you see in the Time Entry window is what's in memory, not a "draft version" waiting for approval. It's just like there's no "cancel" in the Memo Pad. When you make a change, the memo is changed without having to "save."

Six, I've never used the auto log so I don't know about that.

Seven. There's a split screen view in AllTime?

Hope at least some of this helps,

Steve

Thank's Splicer. I am sure that you had seen that the English is not my first language...

You explain very well what I mean by the All Time-Agendus integration (Synchronise, sic).

Just for the bug with HotSync I am not able to use All Time anyway!

For the third case, let me explain more. The Client accounts come back to the screen if I close the CLIE and open it!

Fourth case, when a new Client is added in the List, we have the choice to set a rate between three choices. So the Actvity's rate choice does'nt follow the Client and that his why we need to force it with the Details button.

Yes, there is a Split screen in the expense view! It yould be a great feature if it worked!

You anderstood that I thought to Time Reporter, not Time Manager.

Have a nice day
