Hi,

we have got the task to sync an external Access Database with the Agendus DB (addresses and datebook) on a palm.

Can you tell me what the best approach to this task is ?

Is it possible to extend the built in databases with some fields, for the 4 user definable fields are not sufficient.

Furthermore how are the icons handled - which field must be synchronized with which value to show a specific icon ?

Thanks in advance

Charly

Hi,

We don't know of any applications that do this, you could write your own conduit from access to the to do list though that maybe more work that you want.

Agendus for Windows itself does not sync your PIM data between palm and pc, that is done by the palm PIM conduits or 3rd party conduits you may have installed.

The Agendus conduit synchronizes Agendus specific info such as the icon databases.

Hi !

OK, let's say i write my own conduit - where can i get the information where agendus stores specific information from.

I think what i need is a database definition and how agendus uses the fields to fill in the right data into the fields.

Please can you tell me where i can get all information which is necessary to write our own conduit (fieldnames, description, other important information concerning agendus)

Thanks in advance, Charly
