I'm using the trial version of Agendus for Symbian on a SE P800. I have tried several other competitors of this program and I found Agendus far the best from the selection. The way of organizing and handling information suites perfectly to my style. This doesn't mean, however, that it is already perfect. I would suggest some improvements:
- week view is badly missing, and the best would be something similar with configurable period of time (n days view)
- I don't really understand why I need to hold the stick over a contact item to have a menu almost the same as I can get by pressing the menu button. Would it be hard to put the additional menu lines (open, history, delete) in the normal menu instead of this uncomfortable trick?
- When I want to modify an existing calendar entry (appointment), it is hard to do it because it's hard to find any entry not for "today". Now the only way to find an existing entry is that you go step by step (day by day) on the split view (or dou you know something I didn't notice?). It's a bit inconvinient, especially when you don't exactly know the date of the event. Since the original calendar application can't modify Agendus entries (at least I always get an application error), it would be nice to have a similar "overlook" view in agendus like Calendar has (week, month, (probably a year view?) not in a list form, just the calendar sheet and marks where there is an entry.
- It would be nice a to have a search function for all calendar and todo items handled by agendus.
- Finally, it would also be nice to have a "Send as..." menu item for the entries.
I'm planning to buy Agendus and I would be very happy if I could see some of these features in the near future. Congratulation for your excellent work so far,
thanks,
