View Full Version : Enterng time/changing lists

I have used AllTime for several months and like the way it tracks my time. However, I have many names on my lists of both clients and projects that no longer apply. I want to delete them so they don't keep showing up as options when I enter job. Not only are they irrelevant, but they take up a lot of room and make the list too long.
Does anyone know how to delete a client, project or task once they are in the system?

This is relatively straightforward - when you know where to look! :)
Open the Validation List and select your category (Client, Project etc).
Tap the record you want to delete to select it and the <Edit> windows pops open. Down to the right of the <OK>/<Cancel> buttons is small square box, supposedly representative of a trash basket. Tap that - you will be prompted for confirmation of the deletion before the record disappears forever.

would love the ability to mark a client or project as 'dormant', so the records remain intact, but the name no longer appears on the drop-downs.... sometimes I like to be able to refer back to a client who I've not worked for to see how I charged them when a similar job comes up...
