login suggestion

i like the layout of this bulliten board package. very functional and relatively easy to use. the only suggestion/question i have is:

why is the login/logout all the ways down on the bottom. i hate having to scroll all the way down just so i can login, same for logout. wouldn't it be a little more user frienly to have it right when you come into this part of the site?

Hi isacklow,

you can avoid having to login each time you come to the forums by editing your forum profile options (usercp -> edit options) and setting "Automatically login when you return to the site?" to yes.

The login information will be stored in a cookie on your pc.

i figured that out but:
1. i use different computers and locations to access this site
2. i don't like to use cookies if i don't have to
3. since i do switch machines on a frequent basis i try to logout once my session is done so that i don't leave open holes and trails or create multiple login situations.
4. general design from other sites with login/logouts is that they tend to be near the top so that you have easy access to them when you first enter the site.
