View Full Version : Disappearing Client/Project

I have once again encountered the disappearing client/project problem with my copy of AllTime v4.06.

Yesterday I completely wiped my Palm clean and began installing applications one by one. I began rebuilding my AllTime data as I needed it.

Today, I created a new Client named 'Committee' and a new Project named 'Grapevine.' Whenever I select the 'Committee' client or 'Grapevine' project, the two fields are wiped out. Now, when I selct a previously existing client, such as 'CFM,' the 'Committee' client is populated in the data field.

This feature renders AllTime completely useless for me.

Finally, I am unable to login to the ticket maintenance section of the website so that I can follow up directly with the resource who investigated this problem before. Therefore, I am posting my problem here with the hopes that a support resource will contact me directly so I can send them my database to investigate.

My original message was posted over 2 weeks ago and I have yet to receive a response or acknowledgement from Iambic.

I was able to post a ticket two days after creating my initial forum post and have yet to receive a response or acknowledgement in response to that either.

Now Iambic is moving offices and indicates that they might begin responding to inquiries by February 6.

It's great to be a paying customer of Iambic!

It has now been 6 weeks since I submitted my technical support request and forum post to Iambic and I have yet to receive a response to either.

The problem I had was so severe that all of my data was corrupted and I was forced to revert back to a previous version of AllTime, I have been using v3.21 without any problems since then.

Considering that I encountered these problems while testing the new version of the application, prior to upgrade, I had thought that Iambic might have an interest in working with me to resolve this problem.

This is not the first time I have reported the same problem. This is the second time I attempted to upgrade to v4.x of AllTime, each time the application has corrupted my data. During the brief time that Iambic technical support worked with me the first time this occurred, no resolution was offered and after a hard reset, the problem temporarilly went away.

Thankfully, the majority of the additional functionality in v4.x is unnecessary for me so I am no longer in a hurry to help fix their problem.

I am cross posting this in the Agendus Yahoo Group because Iambic customer support is a frequent topic of disgust among it's members.

After using v4.09 for a day, I encountered the same problem again... back to v3.21.
