TinySheet won' recalculate

I've got TS 4.03 (demo version) running on my handspring and I can't get the program to recalculate my favorite sheet. Yes, I have read the manual and followed the instructions: It just won't work. The formulas contain only basic calc modes (+-*/), and they work fine with Excel on my Mac and with Abacus 0.9 on the handheld.
What's wrong?

There is a small recalcuate on/off button in the lower right hand corner of the screen. Make sure this is not accidently set to not recalculate.

I checked that, and I also tried the /O-combination from the Extras menu. It doesn't work, button or or off.
