I am reviewing the demo of TimeReporter for my company. We have TimeSlips 10.5 and TimeSlips Remote 10.5. I loaded the demo and everything seemed to work properly at first- it loaded all the clients and activities properly- but then I relaized that none of the references were correct. What do I need to do to remedy this problem? I'm going to have a hard time convincing my company to buy this program if it won't load proper references.

hi mw

currently i have tr for ts and ts 10.1 express and have found it much easier to just create additional expense catigories rather than use the reference sort option . then the reports tend to be much cleaner and easier to interpret and create when you have to give them to someone who prefers to glance at an un-cluttered report . technically it sound like it has a linking issue that needs a more educated person , but i do my method because its simple . hope it helps cw (chris )

Unfortunately, we have too much in our expense categories to make that suggestion useful. The TR for TS needs to link up exactly with the references in TS Remote. Many of our clients asked for their invoices to be sorted by references which they gave us. I'll try that download, though and see if that fixes my problem.

I hope the svc release will help the application do the things you need to make your business more profitable . usually the most upgraded app is the best to test and present so the research you do is time well spent . For me a piece of software should be the most up to date for the best efficiancy . remember that it may be worthwhile to call and talk to someone at iambic for any add-ons that will completely fullfill the requirements of the task at hand . glad to help - chris
