Hi,
today I suggest to throw away a feature:
For Symbian apps it is difficulty to overwrite behaviour for the buttons or the flip event. The reason is, that the program has to run(!).
But there are other popular apps like SMan that clean the memory and end apps.
Additionally everytime the phone is switched off and on, the default system setting are active till my app overwriting the definition starts. Unfortunately normally the overwrite action is to start the app. In German we say 'the dog bites in its tail'.
For Px00 a app named KeyMapper exists which solves this problem generally, because it is started after booting the phone. It costs about 10$ (relatively expensive, but for most of your users payable).
After trying the functions from Agendus and later on SMan (wich also allows to define button/flip actions) I bought KeyMapper and all my problems are solved.
Just one thing: I cannot define which view from Agendus is opened. But I can live with it.
